Welcoming 2020 & All of God's Promises!

Happy 2020 to all you Coffee Lovers and thanks for tuning into the Intercession Coffee Blog!

2019 was our first year in business, and we had a great time at many local markets and events. We are seeing a BIG vision for 2020 and are excited for what’s to come. A few goals we have for this year are to fully launch our website with online sales and continue to perfect our coffee roasting.

Secondly, we want to bring the joy of Christ’s presence to you one cup of coffee at a time! I don’t know about you all, but the mornings that I get to relax, drink coffee, read the Bible or listen to my daily devotional…my day is set up for instant success! Our slogan states “we believe in the power of prayer and good coffee” – we want to stand strong in our faith foundation, consistently praying for GOODNESS, PEACE, and JOY to our current and future customers.

Many of us are now back into our normal “routine” after the holidays and New Year. This can be both exciting and daunting as we face new challenges each day. Elevation Worship’s song “Love Won’t Give Up” (Listen HERE!) states “You never make a promise You don’t keep” –  how awesome is that? Here are just a few of God’s promises to Us:

Isaiah 43:2

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you.

Jeremiah 29:11

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Malachi 3:10

Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.”

Philippians 4:6-7

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Romans 8:28

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

If these messages don’t give you hope for the upcoming year, I don’t know what will! So in 2020 grab your Bibles and get that coffee pot going, we are in for a wild ride!
